CAMARILLO, CA — July 10–11, 2025 — Amid one of the most intense immigration enforcement actions to date, a 25-year-old disabled U.S. veteran and citizen, George Retes, was erroneously detained during Thursday’s raid at the Glass House Farms cannabis facility in Camarillo.

His family recounts that Retes, serving as a security guard that day, attempted to leave the area when crowds and federal agents became hostile. As he reversed his car from the scene, ICE officers smashed his window, pepper-sprayed him, restrained him on the ground, and arrested him despite visible disability stickers and his veteran status.
Since his detention, Retes has disappeared into the federal immigration system. His wife Guadalupe Torres and sister Destinee Majana, who witnessed the arrest on helicopter footage, have been making desperate calls to local law enforcement agencies in Oxnard, Ventura County, and Camarillo, but are receiving no information on his location, condition, or legal status.
"We don't know what to do, we're just asking to let my brother go. He's a U.S. citizen. He didn't do anything wrong. He's a veteran, disabled citizen. It says it on his car," Majana added.
His wife, Guadalupe Torres, said he hasn't seen or spoke to him since Thursday.
"I just don't know where he's at. I've been up since 6 a.m. trying to call the sheriff's, the police department, Oxnard, Camarillo, Ventura... They say they don't know," she said.

They seriously need to stop this. As I sit here in Edmond,OK surrounded by “those people”. I purposely wore my Ban Fascists not Books T shirts. Guess I want to pick a fight.
They’re coming to kidnap and disappear everyone who resists the tyranny.
