BREAKING: Trump Administration Begins Removal of Slavery Exhibits From National Parks

The Trump administration has begun implementing its directive to remove or alter exhibits and signs in national parks that reference slavery, racism, Indigenous displacement, and other issues officials say “disparage” the United States.

What’s happening:
Under a March 2025 executive order, the Interior Department required the National Park Service to review and remove materials deemed “non-compliant.”
By September 17, sites were ordered to cover or take down content referencing slavery, sexism, and climate change.
Among the targeted exhibits is the famous photograph of “The Scourged Back,” showing the scars of an enslaved man, which is slated for removal at a national park site.
Where:
Sites affected include Harpers Ferry National Historic Park in West Virginia and the President’s House Site in Philadelphia.
Park staff across the country were instructed to flag displays about slavery and pollution for deletion or revision.

Even though Trump is one of the biggest racists in the country, no one in his party/government will admit it! He is trying to cover up centuries of racism!
