D.C. officials say they are working with federal partners to monitor threats. L.A. Mayor Karen Bass confirmed the city is on heightened alert, though no specific threat has been reported.
Governors Hochul and Newsom say they’ve received intelligence briefings and are urging residents to remain vigilant.
The Department of Homeland Security has not issued a national threat bulletin yet, but law enforcement agencies across the country are preparing for potential asymmetric retaliation—from cyberattacks to lone-wolf incidents.

Well, we already have marines & National Guard in Los Angeles. Now we have a sudden and alarmingly real purpose for them to be present. So, I imagine they’ll be removed from their assignments immediately, since they were sent to guard buildings and suppress peaceful protest, not to provide protection to the citizens.
I wonder 💭 what will happen now. The loose cannon in the office of the Presidency never follows rules, or honors procedures - but acts independently of the Constitution and the authority of the legislative branches of government. The chaos of this presidency doesn’t seem to slow down.
