Centered America is proud to introduce UnPAC'd – a four-year campaign designed to empower everyday Americans with daily actions that will dismantle Trump’s America, reshape our political landscape, and reform the Democratic Party's messaging.
What Is UnPAC'd?
UnPAC’d is your guide to action here on Substack. Every day, our subscribers will be given clear, bite-sized actions that will make a real impact. Think of it as your daily digital toolbox. It’s not about joining a volunteer army—it’s about joining a movement to reform the Democratic Party and fight back against Trump’s administration and the rise of oligarchy.
How It Works
Starting March 6th, you’ll receive an engaging, easy-to-read email every morning that includes:
Daily Actions: Quick tasks you can complete in minutes that counter misinformation, build community, and create a force against Donald Trump.
Rapid Response Updates: Fact-based counterattacks on that day’s biggest misinformation stories.
Centered America Chat: Access our exclusive digital chat on substack where members discuss strategy. We will also provide simple, factual responses to any misinformation you find and together, we will all flood social media with the truth.
UnPAC’d Roundup: Opportunities to share your personal experiences on a Centered America post and share how Donald Trump’s administration is affecting your life personally.
Unity Challenges: Weekly missions designed to connect you with people in your community and from across the political spectrum.
What Daily Actions Would Look Like
Flood the Conversation with Facts
Example Task: Share a 15-second Instagram reel that explains a key issue clearly.
“Here’s how Trump’s economic policies, such as tax cuts for the wealthy and deregulation, have contributed to rising rents.”
“Think crime is worse? Check out the actual data on crime trends and public safety that Republicans often ignore.”
Demand Accountability in 30 Seconds or Less
Example Task: Call your local representative’s office and ask one direct question.
“What are you doing to protect Social Security from budget cuts and privatization proposals favored by Trump allies?”
“Are you going to support legislation that prevents drastic cuts to the Department of Education, as proposed in Trump’s budget plans?”
Keep it simple—one call, one question, one impact.
Expose the Lies Where They Start
Example Task: Join the Centered America chat and share the biggest piece of misinformation you’ve seen this week. Our team will craft a clear, factual response, and together we’ll flood social media with the truth.
Share Your Story
Example Task: Post a brief, two-sentence micro-story on how Trump’s policies have personally affected you or someone you know.
“My uncle lost his healthcare benefits after policies pushed by Trump’s administration left him uninsured. No one should have to struggle for basic care.”
“As a teacher, I’m worried that Trump’s proposed cuts to the Department of Education will leave our schools understaffed and underfunded—again.”
We’ll feature the best stories in our weekly UnPAC’d roundup so your voice is amplified far beyond your own circle.
Break Through the Noise
Example Task: Participate in a Unity Challenge—a low-pressure way to engage with someone outside your usual circle.
Text a family member with differing views and ask, “What do you think about the so-called ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ and its impact on public services?”
Challenge a friend to read one article from an unbiased news source—no debates, just an exchange of ideas.
When you see a neighbor outside, introduce yourself and say hello. Make it known that if they ever need anything that they can always ask (this would be for community building).
These tasks are designed to be immediately impactful in the fight against Trump’s policies, the misinformation that fuels them, and the rise of oligarchy. Each small action, when joined by others, helps build a powerful force for real change.
