'Alligator Alcatraz' Photos Raise Alarm
Disturbing new images have surfaced showing caged holding areas and mass tent structures at a controversial migrant detention site in the Florida Everglades—now known as “Alligator Alcatraz.”

Located at the remote Dade-Collier Training Airport, the site is surrounded by alligator-infested wetlands and protected swamp, and is designed to hold up to 5,000 undocumented migrants in temporary custody.
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier described the site’s terrain as a built-in security advantage, saying:
“People get out, there’s not much waiting for them, other than alligators and pythons.”
President Trump visited the site Tuesday, which he described as providing natural barriers and requiring minimal security.
